I'm not obsessed with crocheting hats. Really, I'm not! :) It just turns out that the only hat that fits Natalie now is the
grey one that I made for her last week. So I decided to make her another one, so she'd have 2 to rotate.
 |
| The pattern for this hat can be found here, and the flower is the large "closed" rose found here. |
Unfortunately, it turned out slightly too big, so she'll have to wait a bit before she can wear it. Sooo.... I had to make another hat. :-P
 |
| This earflap hat pattern can be found right here, and I took the coloring pattern, as well as the "loopy flower" from here. The only alterations I made to this pattern was to add an extra row of double crochets before adding the earflaps. |
When I tried to take a picture of Natalie wearing her awesome new hat, she would have none of it. haha! Poor baby! I took a few pictures of her anyway. I think she's so cute even when she cries!
She was just sleepy, so after she fell asleep, I put the hat back on her and took one more picture. :)
This last hat is one that I made for myself a long time ago, I just never got around to putting it on the blog. Sorry, you don't get a picture of me wearing it. I'll have to fix myself up some day before I post my own picture on here. ha!

I made it so long ago that I don't remember if I changed anything. I think that perhaps I didn't do as many repeats of the pattern as she suggested, since it already fit my head nicely without the extra rows. Unfortunately, we don't live in a part of the world that requires warm head gear very often, so I haven't even worn it in public yet. Some day! ;)
