It's a.......

GIRL!!!

We weren't supposed to find out the gender until I get my 20 week ultrasound (in the middle of July), but we were SO impatient to find out!!  Our friend told us about this place in Vacaville that does ultrasounds to find out gender, as well as 3D/4D ultrasounds to see what the baby looks like.  We decided to bite the bullet and pay some money to find out 3 weeks early.  haha!

I'll be honest, we were hoping for a boy, but I'm certainly not surprised or disappointed that it's a girl!  It was so amazing to watch her move and jump around.  (I haven't felt anything yet...  maybe soon?)  We saw her arch her back and yawn, she reached up by her head, and at one point she even flipped completely over almost instantaneously!  It was truly awesome and amazing!!  She really didn't lay still at all the entire time we got to watch her.  She's a fast and active little thing!  We only paid for the 2D ultrasound, but the technician showed us some 3D images, too.  She looks like a little alien right now.  haha!  We were given 6 pictures to bring home: 2 of them showing she's a girl, 2 3D images, and the 2 that I've posted below.

The technician checked 3 different times to make sure it really was a girl, and looked at her from 2 different angles.  There's really no doubt that she's a girl!  But I suppose we'll get to check again in 3 weeks.  :-P

Our 3rd Anniversary

A few days ago, Travis and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary!  It's kind of hard to believe that it's already been 3 years!  Since our anniversary fell on a Wednesday, we didn't make any ridiculously big plans or anything.  We knew we wanted to eat out, but didn't want to go to some chain restaurant that we've been to a million times.  So after searching the internet, Travis found this great restaurant in Napa called Bistro Don Giovanni.  It was only 30 minutes from our house, and so good!  It's one of those places where they bring your plate of food out and it doesn't look like much, but sure fills you up!  Each of our plates of food were laid out so prettily, too.  :)  It reminded me of the restaurants we ate at on our honeymoon.  We were even full enough (without appetizers or alcohol) to skip dessert...  We'll definitely have to go back sometime to try the desserts!

{The flowers that Travis bought for me.  12 gorgeous long stem roses!}

{We finished the night by busting out the toasting glasses from our wedding, and toasted with ginger ale!}
