Living Room

Our new furniture was finally delivered a few days ago!  We've been picking up the living room and rearranging the furniture, and now we have everything where we want it.  We went to Target yesterday and bought a rug.  I've never bought a rug before, so I was a little nervous that it wouldn't fit the way I wanted it to or look quite right, but it ended up being perfect!  I still want to buy a few throw pillows for the couches.  We're keeping the red ones, but the pillows that came with the couches don't match my color scheme at all!  (I turned them around backwards for the pictures so that they match the furniture and don't distract...  haha!)

Now I just have to hang things on the walls, buy and put up curtains, buy an end table to go between the couch and chair, and all the little touches.  Well, that and finish the rest of the house.  ;)

Bowling

Travis and I went bowling last night for the first time in a long time.  Here are some of the things that I learned/remembered about bowling (at least how it applies to me!)...

1. Real bowling is nothing like Wii bowling.
2. If you have one pin left to knock down, and it's in the back corner, you're not gonna hit it.
3. It's always fun to act cocky if you do something well for once, even though you're losing the game.
4. Your first game of the night is probably going to be your highest scoring game.
5. Bowling in time with the background music helps.
6. You can't take yourself seriously (I mean, look at the shoes you're wearing!).
7. Your hand will hurt after your third game...  whether you've won all three or lost them!
8. Being ahead for an entire game until the very end really stinks....

At least bowling out here is really cheap!  :)

Over the past few days I have been photoshopping a lot of my pictures.  I've been teaching myself some new tricks, and, I have to say, it's been a lot of fun!  Here is my favorite one from the past few days.
